Musée national de la Marine

At the entrance to the arsenal, the musée national de la Marine tells the story of Toulon’s ties with ships and their crews. Models, paintings, relief maps and instruments trace the evolution of shipbuilding and maritime life. You can also learn about the galleys, the penal colony and the role of the naval port. The collections offer insights that will help you see the harbour in a new light.
