Monastère de Cimiez

The monastère de Cimiez combines a place of worship with a museum devoted to the Franciscan presence in Nice. In the convent’s former cells, paintings, sculptures, manuscripts and frescoes recall the lives of the friars over the centuries. A carved cross in the square offers another glimpse of the site’s heritage. The opening hours listed apply to the Franciscan museum; the church and nearby public garden have their own access arrangements.
