Abbaye de Montmajour

Founded by Benedictine monks, Abbaye de Montmajour brings together several centuries of architecture on the outskirts of Arles. Discover its cloister and the Saint-Pierre hermitage. The Pons de l’Orme tower is currently closed for conservation work.

Opening times
April and May: 10 am to 5 pm. June to September: 9 am to 6:15 pm. October to March: 10 am to 5 pm, closed on Mondays. Closed on 1 January, 1 May, 11 November and 25 December. Last admission at 5 pm in summer, one hour before closing during the rest of the year.

Full price: €7. Free for under-18s. Other free admission options are subject to conditions listed on the official website.
Accessibility
Uneven ground and many steps. Pons de l’Orme tower closed for works.

Access and precautions
Free parking in front of the abbey. Outdoor areas may close in bad weather or extreme heat.
