On the slopes of Mont d’Or in Manosque, discover the house where Jean Giono wrote almost all of his work. Le Paraïs preserves the writer’s family and literary world, with his studies, writing tools and personal library. The site also includes gardens and a visitor reception pavilion. The house can only be visited on a guided tour, by reservation. The photograph shows a façade in 2017, before the recent restoration. It does not show the new pavilion or the current facilities.
