Chapelle Notre-Dame de Beauvoir

Overlooking Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, Notre-Dame de Beauvoir chapel is reached by a staircase of 262 stone steps. The Way of the Cross has fourteen stations decorated with faience by Simone Garnier. Built between the 12th and 16th centuries, the chapel combines Romanesque and Gothic features. The climb leads to a religious heritage site at the foot of the cliffs. Wear sturdy shoes: the steps can be slippery. The chapel is advertised as freely accessible, opening during the day with no fixed hours.
